Cynthia retired from her busy plastic surgery practice in 2005 to spend more time with the boys. She had always struggled with her weight, but it really bloomed after retirement. She tried many different programs. Nothing worked for her because she was always hungry and craving. Her will power would only get her through 5 or 6 weeks before she would get frustrated and eat enough to gain what she had lost and then some. She added exercise to the point of working out 12 hours a week for 2 years. Still, the weight did not budge. Finally, her personal trainer suggested Take Shape for Life. She lost 30 lbs in 3 « months and has kept them off ever since. She decided to pay it forward in 2009 by becoming a health coach. It is her full time passion. She loves coming alongside people in their journey, and helping them achieve what seemed impossible before. Besides the fulfillment she receives from helping others, the income she earned has been enough to allow Jeff to quit his job as a Physician Assistant and join her.
